Dignity Health International (CommonSpirit Health) acquires minority stake in RAK Hospital
Dignity Health International (DHI), the international arm of US-based CommonSpirit Health, took a minority equity stake in RAK Hospital (part of Arabian Healthcare Group), building on a 2018 alliance. Deal includes co-investment, adoption of US medical protocols, a hub-and-spoke Patient Navigation Center model with satellite centers planned across Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Bahrain, patient access to CommonSpirit's 140+ US hospitals/1,500+ care sites, and a hospital bed expansion from 65 to 200 beds targeted by end of 2025. Dr. Raza Siddiqui (CEO, Arabian Healthcare Group) and Dan Morissette (CFO, CommonSpirit Health) were quoted.

RAK Hospital deploys PaxeraHealth AI-powered enterprise imaging platform
RAK Hospital, flagship facility of Arabian Healthcare Group, implemented PaxeraHealth's AI-powered enterprise imaging platform to integrate imaging data across hospital departments and enable connectivity with external providers in the UAE and internationally, supporting cardiology, neurosciences, orthopaedics, spine surgery and urology. Announced alongside plans for a new 209-bed Arabian Healthcare Group hospital opening in 2027. Dr. Ashendu Kumar Pandey (Group CEO, Arabian Healthcare Group / CEO, RAK Hospital) was quoted.
