Gulfex Holding Company Formation / Group Restructuring
Gulf Extrusion established Gulfex Holding Company as a strategic umbrella for the Group's current and future regional operations. Omar Shegem was appointed CEO of Gulfex Holding (leading overall strategy, expansion, M&A) while Sameer Alkhresheh was appointed CEO of Gulfex UAE. Gulfex Automotive and Industries (formerly APT) now sits under Gulfex Holding's oversight.

SirajPower Solar Rooftop Plant at Gulf Extrusions' Jebel Ali Facility
As part of a wider Al Ghurair Group–SirajPower partnership to roll out solar across the Group's UAE facilities, SirajPower was appointed to design, build, operate and maintain a 1.8 MWp rooftop solar plant (about 4,500 panels, ~3 GWh/yr) at Gulf Extrusions' Jebel Ali site; Gulf Extrusions itself manufactured the aluminium mounting rails used in the installation.

Formation of Gulfex Holding Company / corporate restructuring
Al Ghurair Group's aluminium extrusion business created a new parent entity, Gulfex Holding Company, to oversee regional subsidiaries. As part of the restructuring, Gulfex Automotive and Industries (formerly APT) was brought under Gulfex Holding's oversight to expand the group's automotive and industrial fabrication footprint. Omar Shegem was named CEO of Gulfex Holding and Sameer Alkhresheh CEO of Gulfex UAE (both appointments effective January 2026).
