Pearl Petroleum (Dana Gas/Crescent Petroleum) begins gas supplies to Iraq's Ministry of Electricity from Khor Mor field
Pearl Petroleum, jointly operated by Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum, commenced delivery of approximately 100 mmscfd of natural gas from the Khor Mor field (Kurdistan Region of Iraq) to Iraq's federal Ministry of Electricity, supplying power stations including Kirkuk. The move drew a dispute with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), which alleged the direct-to-Baghdad supply breached existing contracts; Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum publicly denied breaching any agreement and said the KRG had known of the arrangement since January 2026.
