Fajr Capital-led consortium acquires 65% of Aster GCC in India/GCC business separation
Aster DM Healthcare completed the separation of its India and GCC businesses into two standalone entities. A Fajr Capital-led consortium acquired a 65% stake in Aster GCC (the UAE-headquartered entity) for cash consideration of USD 907.6 million paid to the group's subsidiary Affinity Holdings Limited; the Moopen family retained a 35% stake in Aster GCC with continued operational rights, while separately keeping a 41.88% stake in the standalone Aster India business. Advisors included EY, PwC, ICICI Securities, Moelis & Company, Credit Suisse, Baker & McKenzie and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

Aster GCC unit explores $250 million Saudi Arabia expansion
Aster's Gulf Cooperation Council unit said it is exploring acquisitions of medical centers and hospitals in Saudi Arabia, targeting over 1,000 hospital beds, 180 pharmacies and more than two dozen medical centers over a 3-5 year horizon, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
